AboutThere is a dearth of LiveJournal love for these stocky heroes, so I thought I would offer up a place to post material related to the House of Durin (the most noble of all Dwarven lineages), with a particular focus on Thorin Oakenshield and his close kin. Fanfic, art, and discussion of Tolkien's dwarven characters is welcome, as well as news and views of Peter Jackson's upcoming Hobbit movie.
This is a brand new community, so don't be surprised if it takes a while to form up proper.
